I just figured out I'd have to buy two of them though, so as a question, do they plug into eachother? Or does it look like they can? I have to buy two because the speakers aren't connected, they're seperate, even though they're from the same box.

You can connect them any way you need to. One end is male, and will plug into any headphone sized jack. It splits into two females of the same size.

Yeah, I have one of those that I bought for my iPod when my dad and I went to Italy last year. It works great for that, too.

I got some with my portable DVD players. I've seen them at Radio Shack, though.

How much are they? I'm going to buy a few. No I'll buy like 40 of them, so I can stack them up like a horizontal tower coming out of my computer. Then use similar double connectors to connect them all together.

That's a different idea!

That'll be interesting. Let us know how it works.
I know you can get them pretty cheap, but I can't speak too much for their quality...My cheap one only saw about 2 weeks of use. ^^;

I don't think I'll be trying it though, absolutely not.
Two weeks of use? Shouldn't they last forever? If all it's doing is just "paving" a medium for the signal to travel, how can it fail when all it does is connect? Ughhh I'm missing something.gg
I could make my own by getting like, a a seven foot wire and connecting it to my speaker's jack, and plug it in (and hope the wire and jack both fit in), now that wire is carrying the signal and I would just need to solder that wire to the other two connections, the singal would just go right though.
Too bad I am out of solder! I probably won't get to go to Radioshack for a few weeks either, I guess that's what I get for nowhere.

Poofie, how did they fail? I'm going on a year and a half with my newest one, even longer for the other.

OH! That's not what I meant at all. I only gave them two weeks of use, but they were still working. What I'm saying is that, since I only used my crap one for two weeks, I can't speak much on the long-term quality. Sorry for the confusion!

Ahh. Mine aren't in constant use, just a few days here and there. I have used them to run "major" sound lines, though. Like, 8 channels of sound. I'm talking about like running them off a mixer with a band.

I'm not sure constant use would break them either unless they snapped. I'm just convinced there'd be no way for them to really die. Hmm maybe I'll buy four of them. That way I can use 6 speakers! Oh the joy!

Your technique is tempting, but even if I had six speakers to use, I have no space to use them in. TT_TT *tears*
*up tears!*

I would have a similar problem, though I have plenty of room, I would have to put tall objects around me to put the speakers on. I would take the back ones to the chair. However, getting out would be an awful thing, speakers and wires everywhere! That alien has four eyes and they're all crying. Never mind me.

Winter got glasses? ....wait...
Ah, you want to wall-mount your speakers from the sound of it? See, I currently am splitting this dinky little cubicle of a room with someone, so if I wanted to do that I would have to put them on her side. I don't think she'd like that very much.
