Wow......... surely that is ancient. I'm not sure how long everything in this house (floor-wise) has been around, but we haven't changed anything other than the bathroom and kitchen since we moved.
Just out of strangeness, what color is your carpet?

Mostly brown. There's a lot of stains on it though.

Hey mine's brown too! The carpet however, is much too deep to show any stains. I mean you could drop money in it and it's gone forever. How awful is that?

Wow! That's like mutant shag carpet! This is just that ordinary brown shit. It's pretty worn down in some places. Ick.

That's a scary thought.... would it eat me? It also has an interesting pattern to it. It's got waves of dark brown and light brown, like sand dunes or something. Lego adventure time.
When I'm going to live at my cabin though, all I get is ordinary flat carpet, though I forgot the color if it. Like I'm going to notice that while I'm on my computer anyway. I just got a giant package in the mail from them today. Soo much stuff to fill out. I am going to be writing for a few hours.

Ick. Forms. When do you leave? I'm going to miss these long forum conversations.

*looks through miles and miles of papers* Late may. Around the 24 or so. Yeah, I don't really want to go now.... I'm going to miss hanging out here too. They can't make me!
I'll say hi using one of their old color themed Macs they have, which is about the only thing there with Internet. And usually there's a line to use it. Unless I get my breaks when no one else is up there. The Mac is a really old one though, and unfortunately runs slow. Though they have newer, better ones in the offices. Though I can't use those.

Bummer. Well, I kind of think the permanent job thing is overrated. At least you know the camp thing is only temporary. Even if it does have serious internet access drawbacks. Are you like a counselor or something?

Oh yeah, those old things. It probably runs OS 9, too, which doesn't hold a candle to OS X.
I guess with your impending internet access issues it'll probably be a good thing for you I'm only updating on Mondays. =P
The Shed Ender is a weird metal comb thing designed to grab loose undercoat, where most shedding comes from. It's a little tricky to use, but it does pull a lot out. I think my mom does Pippen once every two to three weeks, and it definitely helps.

No, I'm not that great, with kids, so I get to work "behind the scenes", like help setting up an event from time to time, preparing meals etc.
Yeah I figured it would be good for me too, and oh goodie Mondays! Now I know when to complain. You know I'm kidding though.
Ahh, the mystery of the Shed Ender revealed, though I was really hoping it was some kind of explosive designed to remove sheds.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I don't know how well it would work because it doesn't get matted to his body, it just falls off. Yeah, I'm not too fond of kids myself. My younger students are a pain in the ass. One's got a crush on me, one doesn't really want to play the piano but she doesn't want to quit, and one's a spoiled brat who's always tired when he comes to lessons.

Well, it looks like a comb but doesn't work like a comb. It works more like a rake. XD
I like kids when there's just one of them, usually, but when there's multiple children in the same space it starts to irritate me. It does sound like you've got some really irritating students, though, Pipe Organ.

OS9!!! (yes, delayed response.) OS9!!! Admittedly, Windows (NT4, 2000pro) was more advanced, despite being older - but OS9 will forever hold a special place in my heart.

A friend suggested I start wearing a gold band on my left hand to my lessons. I don't know if he's old enough or educated enough to get the hint. I'd have to be careful with that, though. There's some people around the facility who know my BF pretty well.

Well, my mom wore my grandmother's old engagement ring on her left hand for ages before she got married, and no one ever really commented on it. People are less observant than you might think.
I think the thing I didn't like about OS9 was the way it minimized windows. I was so used to Windows, that the way it minimized just kind of freaked me out. XD
