Howdy howdy ya'll!
Th' names Bryce Mataya, and it's damn good to meet ya, even though I haven't met any of you except Haruo and Poofie, but those two don't count. I'll be starting up a comic pretty soon here, too. First need to get me ars out of school and then I'll be in competition with Poofie. Muahahaha!
¬ ¬ How dare she be so much farther ahead already. I'll get her back for this headstart I will!

*BOOSH* XD I'm not that much farther ahead, actually. I still need to get my site running, make an outline of the whole thing, write a script for the first chapter, and start making pages. Oh, and decide on how to color it. Competition, heh. We'll be linking to each other, so we're actually comrades in arms! I haven't seen you in months, Bryce. When school ends, we should hold a webcomic kickoff party!

You bet we ought to! I officially move into the appartment on the 28th of next month. I'd like to convince my friends into throwing a party for the occasion, and if we do, you and Haruo have to come. There is no choice in the matter.

The 28th of May? I think we're driving out to the anime expo on that day, and won't be getting back until July 3. :/ Oh dear.

Hello Bryce, pleasure to meet you, nice to see another new face (avatar?) around here.
Lots of Web comics, yes... it's always a good thing. If a spider made a Web comic, it would feature a spider in a Web, and it would be pretty comical. Watch I'll e-mail him now.

Hey!!! I'm so glad that I found your e-mail, I'm a GREAT fan of your comic series, how do you do it??? I would love to meet you sometime, I can't wait to talk to you and hear more about you, I am your greatest fan. I hope you are getting alot of insects to your spider web. Well anyway, have a good day Mr. Spider.

greensnakevenom@hotmail.com,
I find it a pleasure to recieve fan mail such as yours to my little Web site. I always find it interesting what my fans have to say, and I'm honored that you would like to meet me sometime. If you came out to this years Web comic convention which is being held July 26-29th in San Diego, California, I'll be there displaying my work! Doesn't that sound exciting? If you come make sure to mention who you are, I would enjoy talking to you, thanks and goodbye!

Venom, you should make that! That'd be hilarious. I love the emails!
Speaking of cons, I might be going to the anime expo this year. I won't have a booth, though--for a lot of reasons, but I will be wandering around. Once I know for sure if I'm going, maybe we could arrange a meeting place for all us forumers. ^_^

So Bryce... what's your comic going to be all about? I'd like to know. If it has anything about throwing couches out windows into neighbor's gardens let me know.
You know what... you just gave me the greatest idea ever! In fact, I'm going to be making a comic featuring him... but only on deviantArt, no Web site. Going to try to make it a comedy with no real relation to previous pages.
I've never been to any con before, What's it like? As for the meeting... I choose middle of the ocean.

I can't speak for the details, but I do know Bryce's comic is a sci-fi side-story to his main monster trilogy. I personally am expecting explosions. Hopefully there will be enough there to make up for the lack of explosions in mine. =P
Ah, a gag-a-day? Some gag-a-days are actually pretty good. I, unfortunately, am incapable of doing them. My brain just doesn't work that way. If there's no plot, I'll make one, even if I shouldn't.
I actually haven't made it to a con before either, but my roommate and Haruo have. My roomie says that they're amazing because there are literally thousands of like-minded people all around. Not only that, but there's more stuff than you could dream of buying in a lifetime. It's insane!
Since the Anime Expo is in Long Beach this year, the middle of the ocean isn't too far fetched--except I get seasick. Bad.

I've never been to a con. I'd be afraid of embarassing myself with all those people who insist the original Japanese is better, and fans of the English are the scum of the universe. I don't really understand what is so sinful about simply preferring to not have to read subtitles or translate mentally as I watch.
*realizes she's just made herself a HUGE target if there are any people of that mentality here and hunkers down, trying to avoid being ostracized for being a simple beastie at heart*

What? No explosions?!! Just make a nuke hit the scene once in a while. Every panel. Oh oh draw a mushroom cloud in the background, and don't even mention anything about it. It will be just "there" and left to the viewer to figure out what's going on. *cinder blocked*
I won't make it once a day, I don't like updating too much too fast, it just doesn't feel right. I'd rather let something settle in for a little bit first. Well there might be SOME continuation of stories, but they don't carry on long and everything goes back to "normal".
My sister went there a couple of years ago... took a zillion pictures of people cos-playing as Link. Sheesh.

One comic I follow updates Tuesdays and Fridays. I like it because it helps me get through the week-long stretches for White Noise and Magic High. It still gives me time to think about each one, though.
Ughh. I'd probably only take pics of really unusual cosplayers.

I have a good punchline for my first page.... but I don't have any good stuff for between! Ugh how frusterating. Help.
I'd take pictures of the ceiling then tape them to the back of their costumes. Then walk backwards through a cornfield while it's raining Easter Island heads.
