Hello there! I am Poofiemus, that eccentric weirdo who makes 25 Cent Hero and administers this forum. I am currently in a university as a Visual Communications (Viscomm or VC) major, which is a strange hybrid of art, digital art, and graphic design with a dash of advertising thrown in. Yay for obscure, extended majors. *sarcasm in the extreme* My minor is Japanese studies. I'm a geek of pretty high order. I'm into anime, with some of my favorites being FullMetal Alchemist, Chobits, and Princess Mononoke, though I prefer the manga versions of the first two. I love technology and science and have been reading Discover Magazine since the fifth grade; however, I lacked the patience to actually go into those fields. As a testement to how geeky I am, I recently recieved a spam email for spectrum analyzers. XD So, once again, welcome to the forum! I can't wait to hear about the rest of you.

I wanted to extend a thank-you to all of you who have already signed up here and shown me support before I've even begun. I'm now doubly motivated to do this thing, and to do it right!
*hugs absolutely everyone and everything*

XD You're not a lazy hack! You're a supporter, though you could also be called a lackey or a stalker. *bricked*

Meep! *gets hit in the head with the CD* Owies.
The 26th? Isn't that a Thursday? Ah, it would be a 3 hour drive and you'd have to ditch Chinese.

Ditch Chinese? That doesn't sound too horrible. Unless it's magical food, then it's not a good thing.
I think I'll help with Poofie's CD mortification. *throws empty CD cases due to lack of music*. Take that!

*throws obsolete Windows programming CDs* Don't want to hurt my music.

And to add injury to injury, I'm chucking every single CD I have. Everything except for my "Terminate Damnation" CD. Then I'm tossing all of my Lego bricks.
What kind of programming CDs?

Just the basic start-up stuff and value packs of programs. I've got tons of that.

Yeah so do I, most of it is junk software that no one could possibly find uses for. I am always constantly cleaning up my computer of useless junk I don't need. Leftover files from installations (including sneaky stuff that still sticks in your system32 folder), things hanging around in folders that disorganize my computer, and no programs running when I start the computer. De-fraging the hard discs helps once in a while too, and so does keeping all your files in specific folders. For instance, all my music goes to E:/Music. Games to go to E:/Games. I don't have games in the programs folder or programs folder in the top level directory etc. Then you need to use a can of compressed air and air out the dust inside your computer once in a while! That's how my Radeon x700 video card failed... it was terrible. Dust had gunked up the heatsincs and air ducts so the poor thing died of over heating.
The other thing you can do is scream and yell at it.
