Totally agreed! I wrote a big essay on this, (okay, short) and basically points out the relationship between graphics, gameplay and the gamer.
Is that your real name or a pseudonym?
I was always called "monkey" by a bunch of friends at school for whatever reason, so annoying.

It's a pseudonym. I'm female, just in case it wasn't obvious. The Gaelic definition is "the strong", so that may be a connection. No one really knows, though.
We call my brother "monkey", but its because he loves monkeys.

Okay was just wondering, and yeah I knew that. I know another girl who also went under that pseudonym.
I'm not really a fan of monkeys but it was because I as rather goofy or silly alot of the time, at least I believe so.

I'm not too big on monkies either. I prefer MOOSE. And imps. Imps rock.
Two girls who go by Ian? ...wait a second...Do you two know each other?!

I don't think so. I'm not quite sure where Venom is, but I'm up in Michigan. I've also been called "Moose." And "Black Sheep" or "Nigrescent Ovine". It always seemed rather weird. One person could be Wolf, Moose, and Sheep.

Nope, I'm down in Arizona. My mom's birthplace is Michigan though.
You must have alot of names, though before I was called monkey, I was called "freak" for a month or two, have no idea why. I like your names better, they're much more unique.

I was called "freak" too. I think my worst nickname was Jurassic Porker. I'm overweight, and my fellow students latched onto that. Where in Michigan was your mom born?

In middle school, people came up to me and said, "You're WEIRD!", but I combatted them by grinning happily and saying, "Thank you!" The look on their faces: PRICELESS, absolutely priceless.

Those don't seem like very nice people. "Jurassic Porker" and coming up and saying "You're WERID" at random? Ugh people these days, I mean first it's the fall of the Roman empire, and now this!
I don't know, I'll have to ask which part she was born in (see, that's how much zip I know about my parents).

Thunderthighs was another "memorable" nickname. To this day, I am still blown away by how mean kids can be. All I recall is a couple of "stupids", some "idiots," maybe a "moron" thrown in for color. I don't think I actually gave someone a name and used it constantly. Well, except for calling Carol "Dumbass," but she actually wanted to take it as her nickname.

There was a girl who called me "wooly mamoth legs" because I didn't shave them. I was in the sixth grade! Excuse me for having a sense of proportion. *scoff* Even weirder, she was friendly to me the rest of the time. O.o
Wanna know something sad, though? I'll respond faster to my screen name than to my real name, even in real life.

Yeah, that's how I am. Call me Ian, Wolf, or Pipes, and I'm on it. Jenn or Jennifer, just doesn't seem to register.
I don't think I shaved my legs until high school. A male friend of mine has started shaving his legs from mid-calf down. He looks absolutely retarded. ;D

I've only had one nickname outsite of my real name and only was called that by a few people. Otherwise I probably won't answer to much else. "Hey you" always works though.
And by the way, my mom says she was born in Wayne, Michigan.

XD That's hilarious about your male friend, Pipe Organ! I hope he's a swimmer or something, because otherwise he's just a dork.
Only a single nickname, Venom? That's odd. There are three nicknames that I only use with my family, then there's my screen name, which Haruo has been using in real life to get my attention, and then there's two more that are occasionally used, both of which are derived from my real name, and those are just the ones I actually like and hung on to.
