Well, actually the musicians' special fund at the church bought them, so they do belong to the church. I get to be the boss of them, though.
Loving the idea of a weather-battling bass! I play the upright bass!

Excellent! Anybody else call any instruments?
I might have to go for the drums or guitar myself.
Oh, or I could play some other random instrument. XYLOPHONE!!!

I call.... the piano. ON MY CELLPHONE. Nevermind. I get the piano. I know I mentioned them already, and probably should be cinder blocked for this, but I encourage anyone to listen to myspace.com/becomingthearchetype 's latest song called "Epoch of War". The classical intro blew me away. I just wished it wasn't so short! (for me, "normal" length is 5-6 minutes long).

Cool! I like it.
What do you mean short? I got a full five minutes when I just listened to it. Neat stuff!

The song "Epoch of War" is only 3:13??? Unless you listened to "The Epigone", that's 5 minutes and has a harmonic start as well.

It would be hilarious if your first character had the xylophone, Cory! You could make a running gag of how he has to struggle to get it to the right location. XD And you could have an American Idol reject be his archrival, who makes storms with his horrible singing.

That's basically awesome - and you've just given my novel purpose/conflict. I am almost certainly going to use that for my nano novel, or for some other writing project.

And then you're converting it into a comic, from the sound of it? *is confused, but okay*

Well, I'm better at writing than I am at comic-ing, so I may or may not convert it into a comic. I suppose I could though.

Awesome! Is it fixable? If so, you could use it for the theatre! Sooo cool.

Actually, the theatre has one! But it is fixable. Maybe when I get some more major projects out of the way, I'll be able to engineer a small air supply for it. I have to start focusing on the harpsichord, though. I got it for my birthday two years ago, and I still haven't got it working.

Harpsichord? Wow. For that, though, I have two words:
Terraced Dynamics. *bricked*

Hehe! Actually, this particular one is a single keyboard, single set of strings model. I get one dynamic. It needs soooo much work, though. You'll love its name though. I got it for my birthday, so I named it "Mein Leibling" (German for "My Precious.") IT'S MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT!!! HAHAHA! Yeah, I know. Horrid joke. But my BF gave me it, and it is precious to me, though I buy it with great pain. *cement truck'd*
