I know a bit, I intend to learn more once I've got the new version (squee and whatnot. ) The other thing is a multimedia type job in Kingman, with a guy who does wedding videos and whatnot - I've got no idea what I'd be actually doing, how much it would pay, or even if I'll actually do anything, but it would be cool to do something like that over the summer. Summer wedding photographer maybe?

Well, considering how many people still get married in June, it's not that far off.
I'll probably get a job at the pottery painting studio in Prescott.

I'm going to be working at some children's camp doing whatever. At least I get power to my little single room cabin. I promised myself I would never work there again when I was through, but I'm coming back just to see some of the good friends and co-workers I met last year. *self cinder blocked*. At least I'll be away from the Internet.
And that role in photography sounds really interesting, it must be nice getting to visit weddings like that.

Ughh. Weddings. They fall under my duties. Right now, I only have one. One couple wants another organist who is a personal friend, and one I'm passing off so I can keep the evening free for a different rehearsal. I probably wouldn't mind weddings so much if I didn't hear about the couples getting divorced two years later. That's really depressing.

Such is the way of... a ton of marriages, and it still makes me wonder a lot. Too bad that happens, then images of them standing where they got married can haunt you. Kind of like talking to someone who dies an hour later. You just say to yourself "I just talked to them.... they were alive and talking back."

Yeah. Exactly. I find weddings more depressing than the funerals actually. There must be something wrong with me.

Maybe just getting used to or involved different things can change how we feel about anything then what the "norm" is considered, which is usually from a unexperienced point of view.
Though I don't know what to say about that, they are probably both depressing.

My BF and I were talking today about weddings. He actually held this job and lived in this house right before I did. Weird. Anyway, we got talking about the priest's usual homily. He's big on "Go forth and Multiply", so he has this homily all about that. We call it the "Love so intense that nine months later you have to give it a name" homily.

I have no idea what you're talking about, excuse my lack of knowledge in that particular area. Well, I can't even figure out 2 + 2. I always end up writing J = ja² or something. Stupid me.

Sorry. To put it more clearly, the whole homily is about having sex. The couple is being told "to get it on" by a priest.

Oh.
A priest said that?

Well I wouldn't know, since I don't know what kind of jargon goes on there. Or a lot of places for that matter, there's probably a lot you could learn just my actually experiencing something of which was just spectual before. Ugh I'm going to go for now, I'm going to work on my game and then fill out some.... paperwork. But on a side note I got an honorable mention in woot.com's weekly photoshop contest. www.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=1240844&count=19fifth one down is mine. WOOT! I hope to win a cash prize sometime.

Hmm... I haven't actually been to a wedding before, I would actually rather do editing on video or do photographs than video a wedding, but if it's a way to bide my time over the summer, I'd be fine with that.
