Hello!
Oh, I guess I should probably say something else as well. Let's see. I'm the guy who was applying for a job at the ghettoplex earlier today and chatted with Poofie. That's how I came to be here.
Umm.... I'm a Prescottonian, as of a few years ago. I've enjoyed playing piano for the last several years, and I'm an all around geek. Nothing more to say about myself, well, there probably is, but it's not getting said, because I'm too lazy to think of it.
Edit: I forgot to mention that my screen name is quite lame, but it was either this, or the one that is too long that no one knows how to say it, myself included, so I figured I would shorten it quite a bit.

Well, hello! You really DID turn up. O.o I'm both flattered and impressed!
Yeah...the Ghettoplex. Today was my last day there! *happydance* Odds are, Zer probably is going to replace me.
Zer, one word of advice I forgot to give you the other day: If they have you on door, bring a stool. It helps a TON. Otherwise door is all standing, which is just awful.
Don't worry too much about your screen name. If you hadn't shortened it, we'd probably shorten it for you. XD

I didn't want to be a liar, plus I figured it would be fun to annoy a new group of people. Hehe. Thanks for the advice, but I haven't gotten any word from any of the places I applied to, so who knows if I'm going to work there.

Whoo, a new annoyer! errmm.... I mean friend!
from Prescott, eh? wow, that makes at least three people here, from there. (I think?)
also, is Prescott right off of I-17 between Phoenix/Flag or is it somewhere between all major freeways (that aren't some sort of 89...)
Anyway, welcome to the forum, Potential-Ghettoplex-Successor-of-Poofie.

I'll be honest here, I haven't got a clue where Prescott is in relation to the freeways, I don't pay much attention to things like that. Probably should, but don't.
Anyway, I am no longer a "Potential-Ghettoplex-Successor-of-Poofie" as I am now a ... Hmm.... I can't think of any creative names for my job, but away, I'm a Blockbuster employee now. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing yet, as my first day is tomorrow. Good that I have a source of income now, but it may be bad with stupid customers or not so cool co-workers. Actually, it should be good, because the manager is awesome.

Sounds like a good thing, the way Poofie describes the job, it's awful. I ended up looking at a map, and sure enough they put Prescott pretty far away from either of the freeways. ahwell. Anyway, even if you don't succeed Poofie at the Ghettoplex, you're welcome here at the forum.

Wow, this is SUCH a small town.
I've started working at my dad's law office, and he also recently acquired a paralegal in addition to my lackeyness. Anyway, I found out yesterday, the paralegal's brother is the manager of that particular Blockbuster! I mean, WTF, dude?

Don't even get me started on small towns. Let's just say that through only one or two clients, my mom officially knows half of Mohave county. Watch out... she's got a Realtor license in your county too... I bet somebody that goes to the blockbuster and uses your dad's law firm is a client of my mother's, or will one day be. This state... is unbelievably small.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that were true...
Because of his law firm, my dad knows quite a few people in this town too. When our water heater broke, he called one of his clients, a plumbing company, and said, "Hey, know any good water heater people?" It was fixed the next day. O.o
