Would the cream cheese pseudopods be anything like those little cleany-fish are to sharks?
One artist I watch has an anthro with a lip ring, a tongue ring, and four or five in each ear. However, those are all piercings she herself has. It's the kids with like a dozen in each ear, eighteen on each lip, and another half-a-hundred through the wings that really get me. Call me old-fashioned, but I thought part of the appeal of making up any character was that element of possibility.

Hm? No...Definitely amoeba-like.
Well, an element of possibility within their environment, I would say. If you pick them up and move them into another environment, they may seem, well, Mary-Sue-ish. In fact, two of my favorite original characters started as fancharacters, but were too sue-ish and so I gave them their own stories and worlds. Then voila! They seemed much more believable and likable. It's like magic.
Still, that many piercings sounds not only extravagant but tedious to draw. I mean...WHY?

Yeah, that reasonable anthro artist I mentioned actually has different characters for different venues. She has a series of anthro rats for one story, anthro hooved animals for another, and anthro lions for hher Lion King fandom. She's pretty reasonable about her creations. It's the multi-tailed, winged, 30 colored, horned, overly pierced, and bizarrely marked anthros that really bother me. This is a tame example of what I mean and have seen, but I still think it's overdone. fc01.deviantart.com/fs15/i/2007/053/e/f/_Jacobis__by_Marz7337.png

I think my eyes are bleeding now. The color combination is just...ow. And so overacceccorized! A bracelet, laces in the ears, a fishnet stocking...Ooookaaaay.
Obviously these people aren't drawing them in comics. XD *bricked*

Believe it or not, that's actually one of the milder ones I've seen. That one's only two colors. One of my favorite things is "tattoos on the fur. NOT DYED!" How on earth does one tattoo fur? The whole idea of a tatt is that its in your SKIN. I just don't understand.
I couldn't imagine trying to draw that thing in a comic. All those head spikes! And there are people who will count and see if the stripes on those spikes and the claws remain consistent throughout the comic. That's just asking for trouble.

I'm concerned about continuity with my comic as it is, and I deliberately simplified my character designs! (Though I do have some slightly more complicated outfits planned further down the road. Sh, I'm not saying any more about it!)
Only two colors, sure, but the ones they picked! UGH. I've got one word for it: Fugly.

I showed that wolf thing to another forum, where there was a discussion about furries and fursonas going on, and they loved it! Man, where has some peoples' taste gone to?

Either a lot of people are coincidentally color blind, or... I don't have another explanation. Maybe they use this random color generator that picks two colors from a color chart at random. It would be like *clicks randomize* "Ohmygod purpleandorange I win!!" Expect for E = mc ². You can use that for a lot of things. For example, there was Mussolini in an Alaskan hut one day, I came to him and asked him about the existence of power staplers, he was like "E=mc ²" I couldn't have agreed more. I have more reasons why that's a good explanation, but I think that's good enough.
Well don't force yourself to work on it when you don't feel like it, that might make what you're doing at the moment a lot rougher. Just make a new one every other hour, that's all. Really though, we salute your every effort and realize things take time. So, what are some more plot details? And lots of other secret stuff. Send it to me UPSkthanks. Okay. Never mind.
I'm still choking on the thought of neon green and black.
On another musical note. Sorry guys I haven't been around here for a while, I've just been getting tons of otherly things done, and now, I leave tommorrow *was ANOTHER day off of leaving point... it's tomorrow for sure, 10 in the morning*. I'm going to miss you guys, and I am glad to have been a part of this forum. I wish you luck in your comic endeavor Poofiemus, and may the gods throw salt at you. Bye everyone!

I wish E=mcsquared was a color.
I'm just trying to motivate myself to do something other than play WoW. It's sad, but it's true. On the other hand, my horde main is a 20! I mean, holy crap. She's so badass. XD *bricked*
No plot details for you come back ONE YEAR!
Aw, you're leaving? ...*tears!* Well, good luck with the camp thing, and can't wait for you to come back!

I confess, I haven't been here much. It's been so quiet. WiseFox and I were made Mods on another forum, and there's a lot more activity, so I've been over there a lot.

I usually wait until other people've posted to say stuff. Doo-dee-doo. I'm mod on another forum too, but that one gets almost fewer traffic than this one. XD I check this one a lot though.

This is not a post from me. Oh wait, yes it is.
Yeah, I'm now setup at the camp, though stupid me forgot one of the power cables and a keyboard for my PC. For Internet usage I have to use those 10 year old neon colored transparent iMacs, you know, the ones designed for single digit Mac OS versions whereas these have X forcefully installed on them. There's a better one in another room, but I don't know the login password for it. They're fired. Today's my day off though, so hopefully I can get those items I forgot today and get straight to work. Life's been miserable without my PC.
E=mc2 IS a color. When typing code for a Web page, just put e=mc2 where a hex color would normally be and it will come out as something... random. Though it's not random every time, as its always the same. It's weird how it does that.
Anyway, I don't know how often I'll be able to log in or whatever, maybe once every few days. And it's never for very long. Oh well, I'm just happy to use the Internet again.

but... M and = aren't part of hex, as it only goes out to F, if i remember correctly. So you'd probably end up with the color E20000, which is red of some sort. or not, either way. Congrats on your return to the Internet.
